About YHC

Your Health Connection (YHC), conceived in mid-2005, was incorporated as an S-Corp in January, 2006. Initially launched as a hi-quality, full color magazine, YHC is intended to be a forum to promote Health and Wellness. The company is owned jointly by its founders, Ann Karen Alcock, Publisher and Anthony J. Alcock, CEO.

Our goal, with our magazine, is to present informative and exciting content on all aspects of health and wellness, spanning traditional and a variety of alternative practices with an emphasis on Total Wellbeing. The magazine will strive to maintain a 50/50 balance of content with advertisements.

Our intent is to expand this “Forum” with local “Health Expos” and conferences.

Happy 2nd Year Anniversary YHC

In January of 2006 the first issue of the Guide for Health and Wellness, Your Health Connection, was released. With this premier issue the face of health and wellness was changed. Our goal with YHC was to achieve something that no one else had before: to serve our readers with local and national information about the latest and state-of-the-art approaches, products and technology available in the health and wellness fields as well as to provide information on natural, alternative and integrative approaches to achieving overall wellbeing.

Operation Gratitude

Your Health Connection, Inc. is proud to announce our participation in OPERATION GRATITUDE, a California-based non-profit, all-volunteer organization that sends surprise care packages of snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in hotile regions. Since its beginnings in 2003 Operation Gratitude has shipped more than 190,000 care packages to American troops deployed overseas and has helped to lift morale and to show the appreciation of the American people to our brave soldiers.
